Toni Costa has just arrived at the airport in Ibiza and is awaited by his girl friend Karen. Also  waiting are police chief Santander and Elena Navarra to bring Costa to the crime scene of his first case – as newly appointed chief detective. A dead body is found at the spa “Vista Mar”. Apparently Ingrid Scholl, a client at the spa, fell down the stairs breaking her neck. Was it really an accident? Why did Ingrid’s friend Franziska Haitinger not call the police as soon as she found Ingrid dead in her apartment? Costa’s suspicions soon prove to be valid: it turns out that the old lady died of an overdose of her heart medication. When Costa eventually discovers that the young boyfriend of the victim and Franziska Haitinger have a secret intimate relationship he seems to have found the killer -  until Franziska is found dead in her bathtub…
