The famous radio host Nico Lohmann (Florian Panzer) from Berlin and his pregnant girlfriend Anne (Klara Manzel) were supposed to be victims of a letter bomb. Instead of them, a little boy dies while playing in the staircase at the wrong time. Ritter (Dominic Raacke) and Stark (Boris Aljinovic) start to investigate and quickly find inconsistence in Lohmann´s life.
The former pro swimmer, who his father Hans Lohmann (Hans Uwe Bauer) used to train, caused a serious car accident five years ago and stopped his sports career after. Looking for a motive, the two commissars also start to investigate around Nico´s girlfriend Henriette (Julia Koschitz). The two of them separated five years ago.
The victim of this car accident Ulrich Kastner (Peter Scheinder) who´s wife and little daughter died, is still sure his wife didn´t cause the accident… but the happening was never clarified.
