The completely different siblings – Luise, Frieder and Jasmin – meet again in the sequel to the comedy Pommery & Turkey Breast. After the Christmas get-together had prompted a 
deceitful appearance of good will and familial empathy, old wounds are reopened and
new conflicts rise to the surface. Ruth suddenly gathers her three children and their families around her. She announces her plans to marry. Somewhat shocked and a bit unsure of what to expect, the children arrive in Oderbruch, where their mother wants to settle down for life with a writer. It soon becomes apparent that no arrangements have been made for the wedding, also that the writer’s house badly needs repairs. Altogether, they set to work about organizing for their mother a wonderful wedding. Yet, despite all the hectic, they still cannot escape from their own problems.
