This German "Out of Africa" begins in the year 1907. Margarete Trappe brought up four children on Momella in Tanzania; she was a legendary hunter, someone revered by blacks and whites alike as a miracle healer. Articles, photographs and film material from eyewitnesses, family members and friends of the Trappes, along with footage of her old house, her grave and her legacy - a school at Meru - are interwoven with scenic re-enactments which bring to life the story of this impressive woman and the incredible tale of her farm, Momella.
