I can see what you can´t (1992)

There are blind children who develop astonishing abilities to understand their surroundings. Some of them are able to find their way through completely alien environments. Others refuse even to walk towards a chair without assistance. What kind of picture does a blind child create of his surroundings? Does he see his environment as hostile? Does it give him hope? One blind boy at the Fichtenberg High School in Berlin, next door to a school for the blind, writes and composers songs. The blind son of actor Bruno Ganz has just graduated from high school. How does he see his father on stage? What can we learn from the blind that will help us to deal with the blind spots in our own perception?
