The Indian Ring (2007)

Anna Landsberg is a lively, energetic woman who loves two things in life above all else: her son Andreas and her vineyard in the Black Forest, which she has been running by herself ever since the death of her husband. Andreas has been working as a doctor in India for the last eight months, and when Anna gets an invitation to go and visit him in Udaipur, she is initially unsure what to do. She has never been on such a long journey in her life. But finally she packs her bags and gets a taxi to the airport. Shortly after her arrival in India, her son explains to her that he is getting married in just a few days and does not plan to return to Germany. Anna is deeply shocked. Then something terrible happens: the former fiancé of Andreas’ bride hijacks Andreas…
