Tough magazine journalist Alexa  writes her fingers to the bone for a Munich lifestyle glossy, churning out features about unfaithful men, relationship problems and unhappy couples. But all her wise words are to no avail when Cupid’s arrow suddenly strikes Alexa herself and the man she falls for is none other than the editor of the magazine, Philipp. Despite all the warnings she hears - for Philipp is well known as a ladies’ man - Alexa is convinced that he will be faithful to her. And when it turns out that her husband-to-be has cheated on her already, she decides to teach him a sharp lesson on the subject of love and heartbreak, with the help of a new acquaintance, Nick. Alexa sets Nick’s attractive ex-girlfriend Florentine on Philipp. But in the end nothing works out quite in the way Alexa had intended with her “devilish” plan.
