Andrea lives in a stuffy little town where she constantly rubs people up the wrong way. One day the richest man in town dies, which turns out to be bad luck for Andrea: she was there at the time. The young woman becomes the victim of a witch-hunt. Her only friend is prepared to help her, and together the two young women transform Andrea’s appearance - only to find that the son of the dead man promptly falls head over heels in love with Andrea.
