Security guard Halil Gezer is being found dead in the garden of the famous museum Topkapi Serail. The museum´s director Nesrin Günes is shocked. As a single mum of a four year old girl she under enormous pressure anyway - so the last thing she needs is bad press and the involvement in a murder case.
Quickly a former employee is in the focus of the investigations – Gezer had him fired shortly before his death for an alleged theft.
Inspector Özakin also discovers nebulous entanglements of the victim´s family: Might the murder have been a fatal family feud? Or has the guard discovered a secret of his previously convicted employee. Finally an unfortunate coincidence leads the inspectors in the right direction.
