In this adaptation of Maeve Haran’s amusing novel, “Baby Come Back”, the 
happily married Molly and Joe are blessed with the birth of their first child Tommy. Their happiness is short-lived, however, when Joe discovers that he is the adopted child of Martin and Luise. He decides to find out who his natural mother is – and, thanks to Molly, stumbles on a surprise. His mother happens to be the prominent actress Stella Martens, who then sets about to win her handsome son back into her embrace. Confronted with a new challenge to her happy married life, Molly fights back – regretting she had ever helped Joe in the first place.
