Dirk Bach presents a wonderful combination of the best that the German comedy scene has to offer (Anke Engelke, Mirco Nontschew, Helge Schneider, Rüdiger Hofmann, Karl Dall, Jörg Knör, Hans-Hermann Thielke, Bodo Bach, Alf Poier and many others), along with information about three current UNICEF children’s aid programmes in Afghanistan, Romania and Malawi, represented here by the UNICEF ambassadors Sabine Christiansen, Katja Riemann and Sascha. And Dirk Bach is able to announce proudly at the end of the evening that the outstanding sum of over 3.3 million Deutschmarks has been raised - thanks in no small degree to the assistance of the celebrity “phone operators” on the telephone desks (Heiner Lauterbach, Axel Schulz, Kim Fischer, Claudine Wilde, Maren Kroyman, Jochen Horst, Alfred Biolek, Kai Eickermann, Jan Hofer, Thomas Koschwitz).
