Two bodies of nearly equally looking females are found in Wiesbaden. Both women were members in a fitness club owned by Hannah Lorenz, who acts rather dismissive when chief inspectors Winnie Heller and Hendrik Verhoeven start to investigate. While Verhoeven quickly comes to the conclusion that the violent ex-husband of one of the victims must be the murderer, Winnie Heller manages to get through to reserved Hannah, who reveals that she has been haunted by a stalker for twelve long years.
Due to the external similarities between Hannah and the killed Winnie feels the stalker and the women’s murderer could be the same person. But, it turns out that the man as described by Hannah Lorenz died a decade ago...the stalking however gets even worse and the third murder is just around the corner.
