The near future. Berlin struggles with a steadily growing number of demented elderlies who wander about aimlessly and increasingly disturb public life.
Nursing homes are strapped for staff. Mobile units pick up the elderly in the streets, but where can they take them?
The private institute Exsolvo advertises a groundbreaking idea: A peaceful and accompanied dying as in the old days. The journalist J.K. is hired by Exsolvo to arrange the necessary publicity.
When an old lady, whose “going home” is to be staged as a promotional video, suddenly vanishes, J.K. is setting out to look for her.
