I Thought I Was Dead (1973)

A 17 years old girl who feels she is not equal to the requirements imposed by her parents, her boss and her friends, takes an overdose of sleeping pills. She is saved and gradually realizes that discussions lead to real living and not "escape". She finds a solution acceptable to herself and she learns how to laugh again. She learns to regain her self-assurance and develops considerable capability of an understanding - as a conflict-ill-advised interference of her parents in her effort to achieve self-confidence and of finding the right answer. Her parents have to accept that. The way is paved for a more honest and more open relationship between her and her surroundings.
