Ex-policeman Eddy is a committed private detective blessed with a healthy portion of audacity. His shabby appearance and unconventional investigative methods are accompanied by a keen sense of curiosity and a quick wit. Eddy innocently stumbles upon a bomb attack at an airport and witnesses an attempted murder. But the victim seems to have vanished. Eddy sets out to investigate the crime. He encounters Katharina, an elegant business woman in the fashion business who is also the wife of the missing victim. When she discovers that her husband Heinz has been deceiving her for quite some time, she tries to track him down, with Eddy's help. In order to shed light on the mystery of the murder and the surrounding network of lies and criminal activities, Eddy and Katharina have to find answers to puzzling questions concerning a desolate piece of land, a secret bunker and a mysterious man with Qigong balls who keeps on turning up in the most unexpected of places.
