Gundula and Gerald are spared nothing. They have only just recovered from their eldest son's cancelled wedding, when an old-fashioned camper stops at the house opposite. Hadi, brother in law, and his heavily pregnant wife Rose become temporary neighbours! Gerald is fed up, as he will need to tolerate these nags for weeks to come. And to top it off, Gundula's mother Ilse intends to buy the house next door. And threatens to become a tyrant of a neighbour. Gundula also faces another challenge: she is asked to take over a theatre workshop at school with integrational course for immigrant children. As of yet, she does not yet suspect the problems she will be facing due to the temperamental students. Soon she no longer knows whether she is coming or going. The entire family is generous with their advice. On the evening of the theatre performance, Rose goes into labour. After a breakneck car ride to the hospital Hadi feints after seeing his newborn baby.
