Famous actress Ines Kupfer leans heavily on Marita, her house manager, to arrange a dream wedding for her daughter Nathalie in the family's traditional residence. Since she has never had much time for her daughter in the past, she now hopes to rectify the oversight with a wedding to remember. But Nathalie is not at all pleased with the opulent preparations for the wedding with Stephan de Groot. She thinks her mother is just using the wedding to command attention in a striking red dress. Then, when Ines receives an anonymous phone call from a woman threatening to expose her former indiscretion with Stephan, she finds herself in the uncomfortable role of a mother fighting for reconciliation with her estranged daughter.
