The inhabitants of a Berlin suburb are horrified when the two young daughters of Heinz and Katrin Menzel are found dead in a nearby forest. A number of people assume straight away that Katrin is the culprit, while others are of the opinion that the father killed his own daughters. When the case comes to court all the elements of a family drama are exposed.
