2005Two German teams, each with five participants, set off on an adventurous eight-week trip. They travel in caravans along the ancient trade routes used by the Mongolians, accompanied by experienced local caravan-leaders. One of the routes starts in the north, leading through mountainous, forest territory with crystal-clear lakes and lush vegetation, and then crossing the steppes until it reaches Karakorum, the ancient capital of the legendary Mongolian ruler Ghenghis Kahn.
