Ziegler Film, founded on 27 April 1973 in Berlin, celebrated its 45th anniversary last Friday. 450 guests, among them many actresses, actors, directors, programm coordinators, distributors, politicians, friends and companions, joined in the festivities with glorious weather and good humour at the Tipi am Kanzleramt, bevor continuing on to the German Film Awards the same evening. MDR Director Prof. Dr. Karola Wille and ZDF Director Thomas Bellut recognized the filmmaking of both producers. TV economist Klaudia Wick emphasized the extraordinary commitment of both ladies in the film business. At the closing of the event, Tanja and Regina Ziegler were visibly moved and thanked the speakers and their guests. Katharina Thalbach and Andreja Schneider entertained the guests with excerpts from their program "Zwei auf einer Bank". An additional highlight was without doubt the video message from Chancellor Angela Merkel who congratulated both women warmly. Also present was star chef Léa Linster who was also celebrating her own birthday that day. Tanja and Regina Ziegler: "We are very happy! We are delighted to be able to celebrate this day with all our friends and colleagues. Yet again this makes us aware of the fact that we as a medium-sized and independent company are lucky and grateful to be able to work together with so many amazing people over the years."
