Professor Lichtwitz is the owner of a booming architectural firm. Privately, though, he is an established philanderer and it is for this reason that he had a penthouse built which is directly accesible from his office and where, evenings and on weekends, he surely doesn't brow only over construction designs.
Once, as he is supposed to be on a business trip, one of his architects Bodo Walter had hoped to invite the lovely Stella Dornfeld, the latter's dentist's assistant, to a harmless dinner. Well, Bodo is quite sure that his boss is on a business trip. That is also what every employee in the office thought. And so does the wife of Professor Lichtwitz who does not realize that she has fallen prey to one of her hubbY's little lies once again. So, the inevitable happens. The penthouse, which everybody epected to be quiet and empty, becomes the arena of hecitc human traffic.
