When a young doctor - Charlotte (Silke Matthias) - and her daughter Franzi (Fritzi/Floriane Eichhorn) move into Frankenstein’s villa, they discover the legendary monster imprisoned down in the cellar and make friends with him. The good-natured though socially inept Lenni (Michael Trischan) is concealed by Franzi and her mother from the woman next door, Frau Mompel (Ursula Staack), who is distinguished by obsessive curiosity as well as a very curious vocabulary.
