The team watched the worker's struggle in Reutlingen for six weeks. For the first time, this was in Spring of 1978, the metal-industrie was confronted with qualification problems. This film is not an analytical but rather an atmospheric report which acts as the lawyer of the workers.
From the 44 hours of film material, a film was made and eventually was shown to the people concerned and was discussed with them, their suggestions and all of their critical comment was considered in the final version.
