In this adaptation of Maeve Haran’s amusing novel, “Baby Come Back”, the
happily married Molly (Tanja Wedhorn) and Joe (Oliver Bootz) are blessed with the
birth of their first child Tommy. Their happiness is short-lived, however,
when Joe discovers that he is the adopted child of Martin (Leonard Lansink) and
Luise (Sabine Postel). He decides to find out who his natural mother is – and,
thanks to Molly, stumbles on a surprise. His mother happens to be the
prominent actress Stella Martens (Gudrun Landgrebe), who then sets about to win her
handsome son back into her embrace. Confronted with a new challenge to her
happy married life, Molly fights back – regretting she had ever helped Joe in the
first place.
