What can you say about a father who forbids his son from doing something and then proceeds to do it himself? One day the translator Eric Leblenc (Pierre Brice) gets a phone call from Frauke and Alex, his two best friends who live on Majorca. His son Jörg has been spending the summer holidays with them but now has no intention of coming home and getting back to his studies. Eric flies to Majorca to have a serious word with him. Jörg has apparently come to think of himself as indispensable, especially since Alex broke his leg and Jörg was able to prove that he can handle the charter business himself. But now Eric also stays longer than planned, since he falls in love with the doctor who is treating Alex. Although she feels the same about him, the doctor also reveals a prickly side to her character. Nevertheless, their relationship become so close that Leblanc suddenly finds himself wondering whether he should stay on Majorca for ever. Although he and Alex have just finished explaining to Jörg that you can’t simply abandon your life back home...
