The human lifespan is not fixed at 70 or 80. Genetic research in the past century has increased life expectancy from 40 to 80. Is death an avoidable mistake? If someone discovered a serum that stopped the aging process, he would have considerable power, it could have disastrous consequences for mankind. "Winterbeach" was based on a short story by American writer Kate Wilhelm. With "Cry for Life", Wolf Gremm has taken Kate Wilhelm's story a step further. The "family"- a small group of people, who have become immortal through the serum , fight a bitter battle against all those who have come too close to the serum. Professor Friedländer is close to stopping the ageing process in mice. His research is funded by the miitary. Lyle , a member of the family, has been told to prevent his research using any method necessary - even death...
