When Milly's "friend" suffers a sudden slipped disc and can't even get out of the bath - tub, and her husband appears unexpectedly because the plane he was to pilot has been grounded by bad weather, the resulting situation absolutely bristles with confusion and danger.
Milly has to conceal her lover from her husband, and her husband from her lover. She becomes trapped in a tangle of necessary lies, and the comedy becomes even more bewildering when it emerges that the lover, a famous chat - show host, is urgently expected in the studio. The slapstick elements pile up in a farcial comedy which doesn't allow the audience's laughs to ease up even for a second.
