Katrin (Katharina Wackernagel) wins a ski vacation at the "Edelweiss" luxury hotel in the Alps. She decides, together with her Aunt Ruth (Gila von Weitershausen), to exchange her chronic money troubles for a few days with the rich and beautiful. It doesn't take long before ski-gigolos Jan (Filip Peters), Gerhardt (Dieter Landuris), Oliver (Rolf Sarkiss), and Matthias (Alexander Strobele) invite them for a glass of champagne. Ruth sees right through these "five-star-gigolos", who think only of their bank accounts. But Katrin is taken in by all the attention she is getting - until the friendly, love-smitten bartender Julian (Maximilian Brueckner) lets her know their real intentions: she's the pawn in a bet waged yearly by this gigolo quartet. At first, Katrin thinks Julian is just jealous. But when she finds out otherwise, she hits on a way to turn the tables on the "five-star-gigolos".
