Ex-policeman Eddy (Pierre Besson) is a committed private detective endowed with a healthy portion of audacity. His shabby appearance and unconventional investigative methods are augmented by a keen sense of curiosity and quick-witted comments… which he emits in the most unusual situations. On this occasion he innocently gets involved in a bomb attack that has been planned at an airport and witnesses an attempted murder. But the victim now vanishes. Eddy sets off to investigate the crime, which brings him into contact with Katharina (Katja Flint), an elegant businesswoman in the fashion business who is also the wife of the missing victim. When she discovers that her husband Heinz (Andreas Leupold) has been deceiving her for a long time, she launches an attempt to track him down, with Eddy's help. But in order to shed light on the mystery of the murder and the surrounding network of lies and criminal activities, Eddy and Katharina have to find answers to puzzling questions concerning a desolate piece of land, a secret bunker and a mysterious man with Qigong balls who keeps on turning up in the most unexpected places...
