Fashion designer Bella (Viktoria Gabrysch) has a problem: she thinks she is too fat, and consequently she leads the life of wallflower. In her job she spends all her time sewing on buttons and cutting collars - although she is actually just bursting with ideas. Her boss, the attractive but burnt-out fashion designer Katja von Kessel (Nina Kronjäger), exploits Bella's great talent shamelessly, presenting her designs as her own. But then Katja makes a play for Bella’s old college friend Jan (Barnaby Metschurat) – and Bella has secretly been infatuated with him for years. This is the straw that broke the camel's back, and Bella finally gets tough. She learns how to assert herself, in life as well is in matters of the heart...
