Anna Landsberg (Ruth Maria Kubitschek) is a lively, energetic woman who loves two things in life above all else: her son Andreas (Florian Fitz) and her vineyard in the Black Forest, which she has been running at by herself ever since the death of her husband. Andreas has been working as a doctor in India for the last eight months, and when Anna gets an invitation to go and visit him in Udaipur, she is initially unsure what to do. She has never been on such a long journey in her life. But finally she packs her bags and gets a taxi to the airport. What Anna doesn't realise is that Andreas is planning to get married in India in just a few days time. He has met an Indian woman Savita (Richa Saraswat), and he is convinced that she is the love of his life. He wants to stay in India with her. This beautiful, confident woman is also a doctor in the hospital. When Anna arrives in India she discovers that Andreas has been delayed in the hospital and has asked his friend Ferdinand Weissenberger (Franz Buchrieser) tomeet his mother at the airport. She is taken to the magnificent Colours Hotel, and here finally she is able to take her son in her arms. When he manages to explain to her that he is getting married in just a few days Anna is deeply shocked. Despite Savita’s charm and beauty, Anna finds it impossible to accept this marriage. Especially when Savita makes it clear to her that she and Andreas will be staying in India. Then something terrible happens: Savita’s former fiancé is extremely jealous and seizes Andreas. He is determined to subject his rival to the punishment of the gods and to ties him to a tree in the jungle. Andreas can hear a tiger nearby and is naturally terrified. Will Anna and Savita’s family succeeded in rescuing Andreas in time?
