A gripping romantic adventure with Christine Neubauer and Erol Sander
Pat Wilson (Christine Neubauer), an attractive single woman, is ambitious and successful and had sharp: she is at an investigator for a multi-national insurance company. Dr. Giesel (Michael Mendl), chairman of the board of the company, has ordered an international search operation for a certain Jan Hansen, former financial adviser at the company who vanished without a trace three years ago... Along with several million euros of company funds. So far the search has been in vain, and now Pat persuades her boss to let her take the case. The last information she has about Hansen takes her to Thailand, where she calls to see a plastic surgeon Prof. Narong (Chayanunt Budsarakamwong). Here Pat needs a man called Miller (Erol Sander). There is an immediate attraction between them, and they agree to meet for dinner that evening -- partly because Pat senses that the mysterious Mr Miller might provide a clue as to Hansen’s  whereabouts. Shortly afterwards Hansen himself makes contact with Dr. Giesel. It quickly becomes apparent from the conversation but then lost millions at had already been embezzled -- and other chairman of the board is far from innocent on all this. In fact, Hansen suggest a deal: he will fake his own death, which will suggest that he alone was guilty and at the same time close the case officially. Then he will be able to begin a new life in secret somewhere else. Dr. Giesel agrees to the deal, but in fact he has a devilish plan of his own. Adverse begins a murderous hunt in which everybody seems to be pursuing everybody else.
