Times of Panic
1979
After a concert appearance Udo and his crew withdraw to their hotel to celebrate this success. Unnoticed by his friends, however, Udo is kidnapped during the ensuing party.
Confusion descends on the situation: who can find Udo and free him?
Udo’s manager (Fritz Rau) hires a more or less hopeless detective by the name of Koolmann (Udo Lindenberg) to solve the case.
His search takes Koolmann to Hamburg’s red light district and various fashionable music bars from 1980s Hamburg, including “Uncle Pö” and “Logo”. But without success.
In the end Udo manages to free himself, and he is elected Chancellor of Germany.
