Malou
1981

Two life stories: 1. Malou, born in France, married to a German jew, driven by circumstances to South America - the panorama of the pre-war generation, mirrored in a woman's extraordinary destiny.
2. Hannah, an independent, bright modern woman of our time with a longing for freedom and self-realization, living in present-day Berlin among various cultural life-styles.
Two love-stories: Malou and Paul, a fairy tale nostalgic couple of our dreams - beautiful, wealthy romantic and in love - a love story which must end tragically.
Hannah and Martin are a very real, contemporary couple confronted with all the acute difficulties of a socalled "relation-ship" between two people. Two stories of love: Mother and daughter, tales of two woman, reflecting one another, crossing paths in various ways, complementing each others story.
