Critic concerning the publication of "ky's novel":
The story takes place in Bramme, a fictional small city near Bremen; "ky" always uses this small town whenever he wants to present a social structure within a well-defined milieu. Gresskämper, the industrial manager has closed his factory in Bramme; the workers are out on the street, Gresskömper has been kidnapped, however, released after paying a ransom. Benno, the unemployed political scientist, who owns an inherited newspaper-shop comes across - together with his girlfriend Britta - one of the badly injured terrorists... Benno acts as a form of "Executer" and, as intended by the terrorists, distributes the ransom among the unemployed. However, in addition, the novel is to be seen as an indiviual psychogram: an unsteady young man, corroded by selfdoubts, a leftist with bourgeois dreams of owning a "semi-detached", a person who in a strange and well-observed love and hate pursues his dreams and simultaneously pushes these dreams away.
